At Robinson May in Phoenix, Arizona I had one of the best customer service
experiences while I was shopping. One of the sale associates in purses was
exceptionally helpful, kind, and polite. After explaing what item I was
looking for, the sales associate was able to locate the purse and complete
the sale for me. Not only was she very professional, but was able to find
the item I was looking for quickly and efficiently. I was further impressed
when the sales associate informed me that the purse was eligible for an
extra 15% savings that day. After the completion of the sale the associate
furthered her customer service by thanking me by my last name.

I believe that I am a good candidate for a mystery shopper because I pay
close attention to customer service. I also am a person who is able to
independently look at details which I feel is a valuable skill for a mystery
shopper to posess in terms of rating customer service. Further, I have

My worst customer service experience I have had was actually with a cell
phone company I was a member with. My cell phone was always being
disconnected because they couldn't keep proper records of my payments. When
I talked to a Customer Service Rep., they told me I had to buy a new phone,
which meant spend more money, just so I could keep my same number and they
just kept bouncing me back and forth giving me the hardest time I ever had
just for a Cell phone.

I have had quite a few GREAT experiences and some bad ones also.
If I am made to feel like I matter as a customer, served quick and
personally acknowledged with eye contact when being spoken to, it is very
important. I like to be in a place where the employees are being productive
and the store is neat and clean. Being well stocked with a variety of items
is also great.
If I have long lines, sales people or cashiers whom are short or rude,
employees that are unkempt or just don't care it is poor customer service.

experience on the service, etc. NOT my personal opinion. I am very timely
and have a neat appearance and can blend into any shopping environment. I

My first stay at a Red Roof Inn in Albuquerque was my worst. Traveling
alone for work, I was in need of an inexpensive hotel room. I secured a
room rate of $40/night. Upon check in, there was one woman at the desk and
8 of us in line to check in. I was 6th in line. After finally getting to
my room after an hour of waiting to check in, I had an older couple assigned
to my same room approximately 2 hours later. When I called down to the desk
to let them know they sent someone to a room that had just been assigned to
me, they told me to send the couple back to the front desk and they would
take care of the problem...No apologies! At 11:30 that night, another
person was trying to enter my room...this time a very large, scary looking
truck driver who I believe was more startled than I was when I called back
from behind the door to say this room was already occupied. I called back
to the desk, this time furious, to tell them they had just done the same
thing to me again. Once again, no apologies were made

I am very detail oriented. I enjoy shopping and know when I receive good
(or bad) customer service. I was a food server for 8 ears and I am very
aware of customer service and how it can make or break a dining experience.

The best customer service experience that I had was at an Olive Garden in
Waco, Texas. Not only were we greeted at the door by a welcoming hostess,
but we were also seated in the station of the best server I have ever met.
She was pleasant, attentive, cheerful, and just about anything you could ask
for. The food came out excuisite and right on time. The service was
impeccable. It was truly a wonderful experience.

When inquiring about warranty service for my swimming pool, the representative constantly was following up on the sub-contractors hired to do the work so that I was not needlessly inconvenienced by having to wait for them to show up later than the agreed time. She really took the time to make sure I was satisfied.

Best/Worst Customer Service
The best customer service I have ever experience was through a Verizon Wireless store. I had lost my cell phone on an airplane and it was not returned. Even though my contract was not up with Verizon, they cheerfully gave me a newer updated cell phone and only charged me forty dollars. I did not have to re-sign or make a new contract for two years. They were a terrific bunch of people.

Well...i went into Mervyn's and i was walking around and just looking at things, i picked up a couple items i wanted to get and wandered over to a check out point....no one came....i waited for a little while more....no one came but i could see people who worked there pass me in the isle...without a second glance....finally about 3 to 5 minutes passed and still no help....and at this time 3 workers had passed in either direction...i left the merchandise on the counter and walked out.

While doing a Mystery Shop at a restaurant, a couple at a nearby table had a terrible very loud, legnthly fight. My husband, who is now deceased was having lunch with me. Coincidentally, a friend appeared and joined us. Of course the friend thought our only purpose there was to have lunch. I was still primarily concerned with doing a good Mystery Shop, but the fight was upsetting and distracting to all.

My worst customer service experience was when my family when to a fast food chain for dinner. We went through the drive through and recieved our food in a timely manner. When we got home we noticed that one of the hamburgers was half-eaten. We went back to that restaurant to speak with the manager. The manager was not helpful at all and REFUSED to give us a customer complaint number and accused us of lieing.

My husband and I went to CLAIM JUMPERS for dinner one night. When it was time to order, we ordered some spinach dip from the appetizer menu. We ended up not liking it so we just left the remaining portion there. We knew it was our fault so we didn't complain. The waitress noticed we didn't eat much and asked us if we didn't like it. We said it wasn't what we thought, but that it was ok because it was our fault for ordering it. She still went and got her manager who came and instisted on treating us to a free dessert. We have been loyal to this restaurant since.

Best/Worst Customer Service
I was shopping at Walmart for a vacuum cleaner recently. After much deliberation, I chose the vacuum best for my needs, although I could not find the correct unit on the shelf. I asked a sales associate if there could be any in the back that had not been brought out. She was curt, rude, and was obviously not interested in checking. She said (without checking) that I should come back in about 10 days. I asked if I could buy the floor model, and I got a one-word response, "No". It was obvious that I was an inconvenience to her routine of the minute, so I got a store manager, got all the answers to my questions, and had the unit of my choice brought over from another store. If I did not know this store better, I would have been very offended at the lack of interest and knowledge of the associate. Obviously I reported my experience to the manager, and have not seen this particular associate in my subsequent visits to this store.

I am well spoken, educated and personable. I am self employed and have all the time needed to do an excellent job of evaluation and reporting. I have worked for Mariott as marketing director for senior living and know the value of customer service and recovery. My worst customer service experience happened at a diner at the Turning Stone Casino Resort in Verona, NY. My best friend and I ordered our food and waited about an hour...we only ordered chicken tenders...and being that i worked as a food service specialist for 5 years in the army I know these things only take about 7 minutes to cook, max....the waitress was rude, when she sat us down the table hadnt even been cleared yet and we sat while she cleaned it in front of us....i think this is very unprofessional for a business. They also have free re-fills at this establishment and not once where our glasses offered to b e re-filled. I think if a company offers re-fills then their wait staff should offer at least once during your meal. My friend and I were not pleased.... I guess that would have to be my worst customer service experience....cant think of any others at the moment...

I think I would be a good candidate as a mystery shopper because I know everything there is to know about food service, I am Servsafe Certified and not entirely picky but i do know when something is a hazard. Like I said before I have 5 years experience in large quantity cooking for the US Army and I KNOW FOOD. I can spot a potentially hazardous situation at a fast food restaurant...or any restaurant for that matter before your normal everyday customer. I am pretty easy to get along with and not hard to please, so someone would have to be pretty rude or unfriendly to me before I would consider them a bad customer service representative. I also love to shop, for me it is a great stress relief.

Best/Worst Customer Service
I was shopping at one of my favorite stores. I was in the check out line and the cashier was scanning my order. I told the cashier I had coupons to give to her while she was ringing my order. I then scanned my credit card for the purchase and waited for to finish scanning my items. When she had finished, I went to hand her my coupons, but before she even looked my way, she pushed the button to finalize the transaction, before taking my coupons. She then said she could not take my coupons and that it was "My Fault" that she did not take the coupons. The cashier continued to verbally insult me and my intelegance and I became very upset. The manager came over and resolved the situation, and the store is still one of my favorite places to shop, yet that particular cashier had very poor customer service skills and I have not seen her there since.

I worked for 25 years at jobs where I worked directly with the public, 17 years of which was at a grocery store, where I dealt with a lot of customer service situations. My worst customer service experience was at a retail store. I ahd purchased an electronics item and it was defective. I had lost my receipt but simply wanted an exchange. The item's box still had the store's name and a date of a few days prior on it. I was told that since I did not have my receipt, there was nothing they could do. I was told that the company had just changed policies and no longer can do any transaction without a proof of purchase. I then contacted the headquarters and had to try 3 different times just to get someone. When I finally did get someone on the phone that could help me, I proceeded to tell them the scenario. They contacted the manager at the store and I was able to go get my exchange. When I did exchange the item, the manager told me that I was to keep my receipts from now on because he would not do it again. I understand that the manager must follow directions, but he approached the customer service end of this all wrong.

Best/Worst Customer Service
I have had menny bad experiencees in shoping. Beeing a minorty i am offten passed apon in major deparment stors. I have a verry good income but thay might think i dont. I was at a well known deparment store and was compleatly egnored. I wouled ask for several times if the clerck there would help me find a serten size pants for my husbed just to hear the same answer " I will be with you soon" after about 30 min a frind of mine came in the store. She saw me and asked what i was doing as the same clerk that i had been asking for help came strate up to her and asked if she needed help i said to my frind "nothing just been wating for this lady to help me for the last 30 min.she seems to have time for every one els in the store but me." My frind who by the way is wite,was verry up set and together we left to another store.
