My wrost experience with a customer would have to be when I was working as a
waiter. I was asked by another waiter to take their food to their table for
them, so I did, I set the mans foood down and went to leave and he started
yelling at me about spitting in his food. Turns out it was the waiter that
asked me to take his food to him that had spit in his food.

eye contact. She seemed very distracted and didn't get our order correct.
I liked the food, but I didn't feel very valued as a patron.

I STOPPED AT A MOTEL IN CHICAGO SUBURBS IN 1990, AT THAT TIME I SMOKED,I
WALKED IN THE LOBBY WITH A CIGARETTE
IN MY HAND. ONE OF THE DESK CLERKS TOOK EXCEPTION TO THIS AND BERATED ME
WHILE THE OTHER CLERK CHECKED ME IN. NO MATTER HOW MUCH I APPOLIGIZED; THE
CLERK WOULD NOT DROP IT. I STAYED CALM WITH THE CLERK; BUT AFTER GOING TO MY
ROOM IT BOTHERED ME , SO I SUBMITED A FORMAL COMPLAINT TO THE CORPORATE
OFFICE. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER A PERSON FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE CALLED TO OFFER
ME A FREE STAY BECAUSE OF MY EXPERIENCE. I TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT I DIDN'T
WANT A FREE STAY BUT THE SITUATION CORRECTED SO SOME OTHER TIRED TRAVELER
WOULDN'T HAVE THE SAME BAD EXPERIENCE.

My best customer service was at a dollar tree and the people were just so
nice and helping to me.(They directed me to the item, they even stayed and
made sure that I found the item and ased if I needed anything else.)
My worst customer service was at a kmart and I was looking for a item and
was the total opposite of dollar tree they just told me it was three isle
over and the product wasn't even there in that isle.

Saw aa airline gate agent deny boarding to a man who showed up 20 minutes before the plane was going to take off. While the customer was somewhat hostile, it did not warrant: "Don't get snippy with me, you were the who was late, learn to take responsibility for yourself".

I was with some family member on a graduation night so it was crowded and hectic. The gentleman server for our table of about 20 was very patient, accurate, understanding of the different needs and wants. There were alot of different "get me this but without that", "bring extra of this", "make sure this is well-done, medium rare,....etc. He keep a bright smile didn't flinch from all that and made us want to come back again on our family night out.
Worst- Pontica & Montel Pontiac
I was hearing a annoying click on my 2002 Pontiac Aztek so I took it to Montel Pontiac and was told my engine was going out. It was about 500 miles over warranty. I was told that it was some kind of defect and they will replace engine but I'd have to pay labor which was $1600.00??? So not knowing any better and needed my vehicle for transportation to work I paid, this was in February 2004. Now that it is warm out I am expecting to turn on my aircondition to get cooled off but its now not working( now it was working find when I dropped it off). SO I take it back and the service manager tells me I need to pay another $1200.00 because a "gasket" is loose and is leaking the fluid needed for the air condition to work. Why is this a problem after a "NEW ENGINE" has been put in I tell the service manager I don't feel I have to pay for this, it should have been put on right when doing the engine, then he tells me it must have come loose while I was driving and he won't fix it without me paying.??????

The worst experience I have ever had shopping occurred at Kohls Department Store. I was trying to purchase an
outfit. Once I got to the checkout line, the cashier was extremely rude to me. For some reason the top and the bottom of the outfit were different sizes. I assured her that it did fit. She told me she could not sell it and I needed to return it to the rack and match the sizes. I told her that I did not change the sizes, and once again she said I needed to return the outift. I was embarrassed and mortified. I walked out of the store, and have never been back

Best/Worst Customer Service
The worst experience I ever had was at a blockbuster in Hammond. My fiance and I go in there all the time and are known as regulars. Theres a man we always get and always greets us asks us if we found everything we were looking for and tells us how many more movies we need to rent to get a free rental he also usually puts in comments about the movies we were renting either bad or good ones. One time we went in there there was a lady working and there was a long line. By the time she got to us she had a bad attitude with us. She wasnt the friendliest with the people before us but she was nicer with them. We asked about our free rental and she wouldnt tell us.

Best/Worst Customer Service
I believe my worst customer experience was several years ago. I had seen an ad in a Sunday newspaper for the Wickes Furniture Store for end tables. They were exactly what I had been looking for and also fell in the price range I was also looking for.
My mother and I went to the store that afternoon and I began to describe the tables that I had seen in the advertisement. I used the words "on sale" instead of just describing and stating the price. The salesman went into this fit saying "those tables were NEVER on sale and it must be something different that I had seen." I realized I had said "sale" instead of saying "advertised". He started yelling at me and walked off the floor saying he "just couldn't wait on me anymore".
Needless to say, I sent a letter to Wickes as soon as I came home. I did end up purchasing the tables from someone else and receiving free delivery.
Candidates qualities
The obvious first choice is "I love to shop". I am constantly "rating" customer service in my mind when I go into stores. It always amazes me how some sales clerks can be so rude and still be employed. Most are nice, but then there are always those few.
Second, I am very organized and detail orientated. I have a good memory and can recall someone's outfit or name fairly quickly.

My experiences as a shopper have always been positive. Yet there is one bad shopping experience that truly stands out and requires telling. A couple of years ago, one autumn Friday night, I had a "first time" hair cutting appointment at one of the popular, trendy hair salons in my area. My appointment was for 8pm. I arrived at the salon 5 minutes early. The receptionist directed me to get my hair washed and informed me that a stylist will be with me shortly. She did not give me a name. After getting my hair washed, I was directed to sit and wait for a stylist to cut my hair. Time passed. No one came to see how I am doing, nor did they come and tell me when I would be next. I was just left there. After half an hour of waiting, I went to the receptionist and inquired about my appointment. Completely unaware that I had been sitting there for a long time, she wanted me to remind her what my appointment was for. She told me she would try to find a stylist for me. I must say that the place was not terribly busy, nor was it terribly quiet. The place was moderately busy. After waiting for a few more minutes, (my total wait time had been 40 minutes), I decided to leave. I thanked her for her time and walked out with long, partially wet hair. I have not been to that salon ever since.

I am a pleasant, outgoing, and non-confrontational person. I like interacting with all sorts of people. I enjoy learning about their uniqueness. Additionally, I like discovering and experiencing new things. I believe that with my charming personality, attention to detail, along with my strong communication skills, I will be an asset to any organization.
