My best customer service experience was 10 years ago when I worked for a
cable company and there was an outage. A customer called irate because it
happened right before halftime. I was able to get his cable back on before
the end of the third quarter. He was so grateful and I was even able to
sell him a HBO package.
Candidates qualities:
I have previously worked and have been reconized for my customer service
when I worked as a server in restaurants, for a cable company and as a
wordrobe consultant at Nordstrom. I understand how important it is to have
a great staff that performs well not only for you to have a repeat business
but to also be sure to represent what your organization is about.

I ONCE WAS SHOPPING IN STRAWBRIDGE'S DEPARTMENT STORE HERE IN PHILADELPHIA.
I HAD RECENTLY LOST OVER 40 POUNDS (YEAH ME!!), SO I WAS I BETWEEN SIZES AND
REALLY NEEDED ASSISTANCE IN PURCHASING SOME SEPARATES FOR WORK. IT TOOK ME
OVER 45 MINUTES TO FIRST LOCATE AN INDIVIDUAL AND THEN WHEN I DID I REALIZED
I WALKED IN ON A ALL GIRL ROBBERY RING. MY LORD!!!! I JUST STOOD THERE AND
LOOK AT THESE YOUNG LADIES THAT HAD TO WEAR A SIZE 0-5 STUFFED SO BIG WITH
CLOTHES THAT THEY LOOKED LIKE THEY WORE A SIZE 16 AND PREGNANT. WELL, I GOT
AWAY FROM THEM AND GOT ON THE DOWN ESCALATOR AND RAN PAST THE SECURITY WHILE
ALSO ALERTING HIM TO THE SECOND LEVEL WHERE THE GIRLS WHERE......STUFFING
MORE THAN THEIR BRAS.

One of the best customer service experiences I've had so far in the year 2004 was in March at a seafood restaurant chain. It's not a huge deal, but it does demonstrate quality customer service.
I ordered a steak and asked for it to be cooked medium well. When the steak arrived, it was much too cooked and I just could not eat it. When the waitress asked how everything was, I told her the steak was too done. She very gladly took the steak away and ordered me another. The second steak came out just fine. After a few minutes, I was approached by the Manager. He wanted to know what he could do make up for the steak not being done the 1st time. He was willing to give me something even though they had corrected the situation by making me another steak. He gave us dessert for free. He also told us he was moving to a new store (same chain), but closer to where I live. Because of the service he provided, we will be going to that store very simply because of the quality service that was provided by that manager. And, as a result, that particular chain will make more profit from me, my family, and my friends. Word of mouth travels a long way.

I have worked in the Customer Service Insdustry since I graduated high school. As a consumer/customer, I expect the highest level of customer service because I have ALWAYS given it. Because of my experience, I know what it takes to provide excellent service. As a Mystery Shopper, I will provide honest, accurate, and timely feedback on any company for which I mystery shop. And, on top of it all, I love to shop and would truly enjoy the experience.
