Worst ever customer Service experience. Stores that show a display but they
are not willing to sell.
I had an experience at Walmart, I wanted to buy a BBQ for my husband and they
had the one I wanted but, they only had the display, the manager was not
willing to part with it. And after spending two to three hours at this store
I left without the BBQ. It's not what they do, it's how they do it.
Candidates qualities:
Walmart, Sams, TARGET, BEST buys.
I worked in retail for seven years. actually I was in charge of training of

supposed to look for.

One of my best customer expereinces is while working at my last job at a
retail location, I had a customer come in. She didn't speak very good
English, and was shopping for greeting cards. She told me the occasions for
the cards and i went through one by one reading the selections. She still
didn't understand fully and asked me to pick the best and most suitable. I
pick one for each occasion she needed, she paid, and left. A week after she
came in with her son, who spoken fluent English and told him what she wanted
to say. He told me, that she had lived here in the USA for almost 1 yr, and
that she had never received as good a service as I provide. That most people
were actually rude, cause she didn't understand English that much. That she
was truely grateful and would be back for any purchase she needed that our
store provided. I was almost in tears by the time she finished, and we
hugged. Times like that make me forget about any bad days/experiences.
Candidates qualities:
I have 7 yrs. of customer experience, I enjoy working with the public very
much. I know the inner workings of a exceptional sales representative and
retail store, so I know what to look for when critiquing a shop and their
employees. My best quality is being able to look at a situation and to see
both the good and bad point, which makes me a very rational person when
dealing with problems/situation and not reacting with my feelings.

Best/Worst Customer Service:
Worst experience was during the Christmas Holidays, (shopping for presents) I
needed help reaching a certain item. Many of the employees past by me noticing
my struggle to obtain the item, yet they offered no assistance. when I asked
for assistance the employee said I will find someone to help you, so I waited
30 mins. and no help came. So I finally reached the item myself and several
other items came down with it. Of course the noise got the attention of the
employees, they asked what happened I replyed No one would help so I helped
myself. I picked up the item and walked off, only to come upon other employees
talking and asking each other where they could hide so that they would not
have to help anyone.
Candidates qualities:
I Love to shop! I'm very oberservant when shopping, I tend to notice things
like the cleanness of the store, the attitudes of the employees, various other
things that others do not take the time to notice.
I have been shopping for myself and family for over 18 years.
This is an opporunity to work and still have quality time with and for my
family, my husband and childern come second only to God.
Honestly the only real experience I can say that I have comes from being a
wife and mother.
Sincerely, Veta Lawson

My worst customer service experience was at a high-end jewelry store in my
hometown. I had recieved a ring as a gift, and had come in to get the ring
resized. I walked up to a woman working there who was sitting in a chair
reading a magazine. She didn't look up or acknowledge me as I stood directly
in front of her, but just kept reading! After a minute, I said, "excuse me"
and she looked up long enough to say hello, then went back to reading. I asked
about getting the ring resized, and she did not even look up at me when she
answered. She offered no assistance other than the bare minimum of answering
my questions, and made me feel like I was wasting her time. I have never been
back to this store since then!
Candidates qualities:
I am professional, objective, and understand the importance of customer
service in any job. I have worked in retail and have actually been mystery

Olive Garden in Bartlett has the most courteous service personnel. I visit
this particular Olive Garden regularly and have had wonderful experiences each
time. The waiter and waitresses consistently bring out drinks when they are
needed, ask if everything is fine, are quick to bring out anything needed, and
always are happy to give me extra salad, which I love. I am always amazed at
the positive attitude and service I have received there.

The best customer service I have ever had happened just recently while
finalizing plans for my trip to Hawaii. I had booked my flight throught
reward points through Delta and called customer service to make sure that
everything had gone throught correctly. Everything was fine with the ticket
but my seats were not put with the rest of the party with whom I was
traveling. When this was brought up the customer service person quickly made
some changes and everything was put in order. I was thankful that the person
on the other end of the line understood that it was important to me that I be
with my party for my 10 hour flight. Needless to say, I reported this
wonderful representative to the company and let them know how much of a help
they had been!
Candidates qualities:
I am a diverse person and enjoy many things. I can feel just as natural in a
lingerie store as I am in a sporting goods store. I am critical of all things
but I am not so critical that I expect a performance that can not be reached.
The many thing I expect of a company is that I be treated as a valued customer
and unique individual. I want companies to think that MY opinion counts just
as much as everyone elses. I am a student at a local university this job
would be a great way to get a little extra money to help with school.

The worst customer service I ever experieced was at Wal-Mart. Upon trying to purchase a new television, I was put on hold waiting for a stock person for approximately 45 minutes. After no one came to assist, I went to the store manager, who was very unwilling to help my husband load the television on the cart. He then proceeded to page a stock person to help my husband. After waiting another 13 minutes for the stock person, we asked the manager again to help us with the television. He again declined. Needless to say we gladly went elsewhere and paid the extra $90 for the exact same television, all handled with superb customer service.
As a mystery shopper, I can be objective and provide necessary feedback that will be well written and concise. I am open minded and feel that I can distinguish between mistakes and laziness. I don't have any favorite restaurants or retail stores, so I will be open minded in that respect.

Was a mystery shopper for Gamestop and Captian D's.
The best customer service that I recieved was at a little resturant inside of Arlington, TN. They had a friendly almost home-like experience. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted in a very friendly way, and my order was taken with the utmost politeness. After I paid for the meal, they let me know that I could just sit down, and that it would be brought to me. They even cleaned up after you were done. They always have a health rating score about 90, and its always very pleasant to go into. I would recommend this place if anyone ever asked me about where a good place is to eat.
I have always been a good Mystery Shopper due to my keen observance for detail, as well as my ability to retain a pictographic image of everything that goes on. I have never had a problem remember numbers, dates, event, etc. Even when I worked as a cahier at a local grocery store, if they came up to me 4 hours later, and asked what a lady had on her checkout order, I could still name what it was. I might even be able to tell what the reciept number was based on that. I also have the ability to multitask and love to interact with people. I've always been a polite person to talk to, and a joy to work with.

The best shopping memories for me are the after-Thanksgiving-day shopping ritual. My 4 sisters and our mom go shopping together all day and eat lunch, and really just have a great time. One year we were shopping and decided to go eat. We went to a large chain restaurant and we waited for our food for approximately an hour and a few minutes after we asked where our food was, here the waiter comes carrying it out. Just as he almost gets to our table he trips and, not only, drops all of our plates, but food goes all over us!
I am very detail-oriented and believe that customer service is the MOST inportant thing for a company to be good at.

The best customer service I received was at a Red Lobster in Johnson City. My daughter was part of a band competition and afterwards the 7th grade band went to Red Lobster for dinner. Although it was late in the evening, the service we received was impecable. We were greeted warmly by the door greeter who waited until all parties were inside the restaurant and took us to our seats in a cozy, secluded area. Upon seating us, our waiter came by to take our orders for drinks. He was very friendly and attentive to our needs. He laughed, smiled and engaged in several conversations with us. He constantly came to our table to see was everything to our liking without being annoying. The food was wonderful and all in all a great experience even though we were with a large group.
My experience as an Executive Assistant in a non-profit organization has not limited me to just sitting in front of a computer. Interacting with the public, conducting outreach programs and producing detailed documents such as memos, letters, minutes and grant proposals is among my many job duties. In the past I have been employed in customer service organizations such as fast food restaurants and in the cafeteria of a nursing home. Customer service is very important aspect of an individual or company's business. Word of mouth and business communication can make or break an organization. Although my experience is limited, my eye for detail and past customer service experience would make me a prime condidate to be a Mystery Shopper for your company.

My best customer service experience occurred when purchased a jacket at American Eagle. I had the jacket for about a week when the zipper broke. I took it back to the store to get a new jacket, however, they did not have any left in my size. They were very apologetic. They searched in the stock room a second time just to make sure that they had not overlooked one. After being unable to find one after the second look, they offered to order one from another store. After searching and calling around to several stores, they were still unable to find the jacket. As a second resort, they helped me find a different jacket to replace the one I brought back. The sales people were friendly and very willing to help me. They devoted a great deal of time to helping me even though I was just bringing something back. They also had a great attitude and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. My worst customer service experience occurred when I was shopping for a prom dress my senior year of high school. I walked into a local dress shop before my shift at Krogers (which was located across the street from the dress shop). When I walked into the shop in my Kroger shirt and khakis, I was not greeted at the front door. No one offered to help me. Apparently I looked as if I had no money. I selected a dress to try on and had to track down one of the sales ladies to ask if I could try it on. She glanced at me and asked where my mother was. When I said I was alone, she informed me that the dress I wanted to try on was too expensive for me and that my mother must be present for me to even try it on. Little did she know that I had been saving for months to by any dress that I wanted and I had $500 in cash in my purse ready to spend that day. After she so rudely informed me that I could not try on the dress, I simply walked away and later that weekend paid cash for another dress at a more helpful dress shop.
Upon reflecting on my best and worst customer service experiences, I came to the realization that it was much easier to remember bad customer service experiences than good ones. The general public expects excellent customer service, and for this reason, poor customer service can be very costly to a business. I feel that I would be a good candidate as a Mystery Shopper because I love to shop, I enjoy interacting with people, and I am a very detail oriented.
I am available to work in Clarksville, Tennessee and Hopkinsville, Kentucky. I live in Kentucky but my home is 1/4 mile from the Tennessee border.

The worst customer service I ever received was on a Saturday evening at a leading clothing store in the local mall. The cashier was a young lady probably about 20 years old. She had two of her girlfriends standing next to her at the cash register and they were talking. The clerk did not greet me, ask me if everything was okay, if I found everything, etc... She continued to talk and in mid-sentence with her girlfriend, announced my total, without making eye contact, and then continued talking to her friend. I handed the clerk my credit card. She took it, did not look at the name, did not ask for ID and swiped the card. She handed the card, the receipt and credit card slip to me to sign. She bagged my items and did not say thank you. I found the store manager and told him about my poor exerience and instead of listening to me and acknowleging there was an issue, he just said "yes, we've had complaints before" and asked if there was anything else. By this time I was so frustrated I just left. I have not been back since then.
I worked for Wal-mart for almost four years. During this time I learned a lot about the retail environment and what is expected of employees. I spent one year as a cashier and almost three years as a sales associate in the jewelry department. As a cashier, I was expected to attend bi-monthly cashier meetings. During this time, management discussed different aspects of customer service, what was expected of us and other things such as checking ID, properly bagging items and handling difficult customers. As a sales associate I learned how to set displays, work more closely with customers and how the store ran. During my tenure at Wal-mart I was also expected to complete intense computer training that covered every aspect of the retail environment. Now, whenever I go into a store, I look at things that may pass by others. I check to see if the sales clerk is wearing proper clothes, I look for cleanliness, I make a note whether or not I am greeted and if the clerk asks for ID. I check displays, prices, variety, location and friendliness.

I will never forget a waiter in an Italian Restaurant outside on Raleigh, NC in the 1960's. He served our every need promptly, yet my husband and I were never aware of his presence, so we could have a quiet conversation and enjoy our food. My most unpleasant shopping experience was with a major furniture company and a defective mattress I had purchased. It took many phone calls, visits to the local story and finally a personal letter of complaint from me to the Regional Manager to have the problem resolved satisfactorily.
First of all, I love to shop. I appreciate good bargains and good service. I pride myself on being able to get along with many varied individuals and am very sensitive to those who do not. I am a fairly good judge of character, also. Another asset is my attention to details. While I worked in retail sales, I understood what made our customers happy and how to serve their requests. I believe I can be an objective reporter of good and not so good service, whether it be in retail sales, restaurant service, theaters or any related services. I have taken an acting course; therefore, it will not be difficult for me to be a "secret" shopper.

I bought Appliances from Sears & Roebuck and could not take them the day I purchased them. When I returned to pick them up 4 days later they had sold all the Appliances that were on sale to someone else that could take them right away. Then they tried to load a Television on to my van that I didn't buy. They had substituted a different one, because they had sold the one I had bought.
I have worked with the public since I was 14 years of age. I am very observant, and know what to look for. I can make my own schedule, and I know several weeks, and sometimes months ahead if I am going to be out of town for my Business.
