I shopped for Certified Reports; Kroger stores.
Best/Worst Customer Service:
This was en excellent shopping experience that ended bad. I was doing an audit
at at local grocery store.
As I entered the store the cart area was clean and well maintained. The ads
were nice and neat and in their appropriate spot. I walked in the store the
overall appearance was very clean and neat. I proceeded to the bakery, where I
was greeted by a very nice lady, Mary, with gray hair. I inquired about their
birthday cakes, since my child was having a birthday. The lady helped me pick
through the available cakes and explained to me how much in advance I needed
to order the cake. I then went to the deli , where I was most-graciously
greeted by a very nice well groomed man with light brown hair, his name tag
said John. He was busy when I first walked up and he had told me hello and
that he would be with me as soon as he helped the people in front of me. After
picking up the deli meat I needed, I finished my shopping. I noticed that the
store was very clean and all the merchandise was fronted on the aisles. I was
greeted by all the employees I passed and asked if I was finding everything
ok. I headed toward
At the checkout all the good in this shop changed. The cashier's name was
Maggie, she was an older
woman with salt and pepper hair. She did not greet me and was not dressed very
neatly, her shirt was not tucked in. She acted as though waiting on me was a
bother for her. I tried to engage in friendly conversation with her but she
did not want any part of that. The bag boy, Alex, a teenager with brown hair
and dark eyes, was not much better. His clothes were a mess and his hair was
untidy. He did not want to sack the groceries, because
he was busy talking to a friend that was close by. He did not offer to take
the groceries out. Neither of these two employees said thank you or asked if I
found everything. I was very disappointed
Candidates qualities:
I am a good candidate for a Mystery shopper because I love to shop and
evaluate the employees and the business itself. I really feel that I am
qualified for this job because I have shopped and evaluated for years; being a
stay at home mom and a PTA Fundraiser President I have alot of experience in
evaluating employees, merchandise and the overall business. I am very
flexible because I have the extra time to devote to the job, and I am very
dependable. I believe if you partake in something you should do the best you
can do. With this evaluator position I feel like I have more of the experience
you are looking for. I am very observant, neat professional appearance, have
a good memory, and I am capable of completing the report in a timely manner

Best/Worst Customer Service:
There was a huge inflated Armadillo in front of the restaurant facing the road
which was a nice "attention grabber".
Christine seated us and asked us if it was our first time. We replied yes and
she told us the story and let us know about the Legendary items they are know
for.
Everyone was appropriately dressed and friendly.
The steak was cooked exactly how we requested and was a nice quality cut of
meat. The salad was huge and tasted good. I would have liked the Chicken
Critters on the salad to have been hotter they were nearly the same
temperature as the salad.
Our drinks did go empty a few times I would have liked to have them at least
half way full the entire visit. The quality of the food was good and the
atmosphere was comfortable.
The food was delicious and presented nicely. The Chicken Critters were tasty
but were not hot but the same temperature as the salad.

The worst customer service experience happened not too long ago. I work in

Best/Worst Customer Service:
My worst customer service experience was at a chinesse food restaurant! I
ordered my food and then ordered food for my then young son. The waiter
brought the food and there was a VERY long hair present! Needless to say I
was mortified! I then requested the waiter who "shrugged" the long hair off.
I then requested the presence of the Manager who also "shrugged" the long hair
off. I requested to speak to the owner and then was told that I was not
allowed to speak to the owner. I requested the meal be removed from my bill
and was totally blown offand unsucessfull! I wrote a letter to the owner and
he never responded to my letter. Needless to say I have never gone back and
have told EVERY single person I know that this restaurant really SUCKS!
(Excuse my expression, but it was true!)
Candidates qualities:
I am a very HONEST person and always give people the benefit of the doubt. I
will never judge anyone on the FIRST mistake. I always wait to see if a
pattern is being formed. If so, then I begin to quietly investigate the
person/service and wait and think before making my decision of the success of
the time spent at whatever enviroment I am in. I am VERY outgoing and always
strive for honesty.

I managed a 400 unit multi-family property several years ago and had a
situation that proved excellence in customer service is any company's secret
to success. One afternoon a client came in and was speaking with 1 of my
leasing consultants regarding needing a 1 bedroom apt. As I overheard the
conversation I was unsetttled with the responsiveness and the "you have
interrupted me" feel that my employee was conveying. I chose to enter the
leasing area and subtlely ask my associate if she could please take care of a
file needed for another client due in on a rushed lunch break. I introduced
myself, apologized to her client for the switch and proceeded in determining
his needs regarding the 1 bedroom apt. From the initial conversation I had
overheard between my associate and the client I had determined that he was
very particular, analytical and price conscious. The next 75 minutes included
a client who's interest was detailed in every aspect of apt. living from the

Best/Worst Customer Service:
When I purchased my truck, the dealership made me feel right at home. Upon
arriving for the first time, I was greeted in a nice and timely manner. Also
I was offered a drink and after that the salesman made a wonderful attempt at
trying to get to know me. After this he showed me a few trucks and he
qualified me as a customer to see what would fit my needs. When it was time
for me to leave he asked if I was interested in the deal and if I was we could
talk now or later. I felt like I was under no pressure to buy, but I also
felt like I could not go anywhere else because of the service I received. In
the end, I decided to buy the truck from him.

My best service ever was when my wife and I went to dinner at the Villareal
restaurant in Irving. It's a fancy restaurant with vallet parking. Upon
entering through the front doors, we were welcomed by professional-looking
staff members. We were then taken to our table. The server came to the table
and greeted us, and took our drink order, and later took our food order. He
continuously returned to the table to refresh drinks, and without interupting
conversations. He then brought the food to our table. The meal looked great,
and tasted even better. after finishing our meals, the server returned to the
table with a tray of freshly prepared deserts. Although I was no longer
hungry, I was tempted to take a desert off of the tray, and did. Dessert was
great too. The price of the meal was equal to the service that we received.
I left the restaurant feeling great about the service received, the meal that
we had, and the time spent at the restaurant.
Candidates qualities:

ends up in court, so I have to be fair and honest in those reports.

I had ordered some pizzas from a local chain. I had called in and requested
it be delivered to my home, and after one hour, I had not received the pizza.
I called the pizza shop and asked if it was on it's way, and the rudely said
that I had told them that I would pick it up, and then after a long silence
told me that they would make the pizzas again and deliver them to me. I did
not get a sorry, or it was our mistake, or even a discount off the pizza.
They made it seem that the error was my fault. I was offended.
Candidates qualities:
I feel that I am a good communicator with people and I am extremely observant
of how businesses should treat customers. Though the customer is not always
right, businesses do have an obligation to their patrons to offer the best
price, service and follow-through on their returns, questions, and
assistance. How an employee treats a customer is a reflection on their
company. As a mystery shopper, I would be open minded, yet concienscious to
the overall flow of the transaction.

As a department manager, I had the responsibility to have my employees shopped.
A worst customer service experience doesn't come to mind. This is really od considering that I have worked in some high stress areas such as Toys (during Christmas), Young Men's, kids and Boys (Back to School) and Electronics/Books. I would conclude that my best customer service experience would be when I assisted customers with the Bette Midler book signing. The customers commented to management that the signing was organized and that they were taken care of and the preorder books to be signed for pickup later were ready for them.
I have had the opportunity to work as a sales person and have been involved in a management position in field of retail. I am definately aware of what it takes to satisfy a customer and how all customers should be treated regardless of the current environment, personal situation or attitude of the sales person or customer.

The best experience that I can ever have as a customer is when I walk into a place of business and I am greeted with a smile. Then the employee makes extra efforts to check back with me to see if I need anything or they can help me. The worst is when I have walk in to a place and am ignored. I have felt like I did not exist because they were to involved in things they should not have been.
I am a honest person who believes in customer service. I believe that you can not fix a problem unless you know that it exist. I am flexible, dependable and I love being a mystery shopper!
Wilmer, Hutchins, Lacaster, DeSoto, Terrell, Mesquite, Garland, Plano, Allen
The worst shopping experience that I have ever had was a time when I went to a retail shop to buy clothes. I took my items to the register to purchase and for some reason, the cashier kept skipping over me. She claims she didn't see me, which is impossible because I was standing AT the register in plain view. She took two customers before me and they got in line after me. I finally spoke up and said, "Miss, I was here before the last two customers you took." That's when she said she didn't see me. We got into a small arguement before I asked to speak to her manager. The manager finally came and basically took the young ladies side in the matter. I put the clothes down on the counter and told them that I was going to report them to their corporate offices for discrimation and left the store. Needless to say, I never went back to that store again.
I am a good candidate as a Mystery Shopper because I am always shopping and I like to be treated with respect when I come into a store to purchase things. I look for mannerable employees at stores that are willing and eager to help me when the need arises. I look for these things in order for me to continue to shop there in the future. I also have a very good photographic memory and have great recall when it comes to details of things.

There was a sign by the cashier that read as followed: "Recieve a free medium popcorn if cashier fails to mention March of Dimes dollar donation." I went through the check-out line and the cashier did not greet me, she scanned my items, and then I paid. I mentioned to her does the store award for that sign, I pointed to the March of Dimes sign. She called her supervisor and sent me to customer service. I waited over 20 minutes for the free popcorn. I ended up leaving without the popcorn.
I have experience as both a shopper and a worker. I know what is to be expected of employees and customer service. I go shopping often. I am reliable and determined. I can also follow directions well.

When I had a customer at an insurance agency I worked at that no matter what I did he was not happy.
I am open-minded, thorough, sincere and I look at every possible scenario.
I live in Lubbock Texas and have access to Amarillo, Plainview, Post and several small towns as well.
I have just started and have done only one shop for Hilli Dunlap Enterprises.
My best customer service experience was helping an elderly lady when I was working with Bell South telephone equipment. I was troubleshooting the phone with her and she just could not find the reset button. We were on the phone about 20 minutes when she finally understood what I was talking about and she asked to speak to my supervisor to say how patient I had been. Yhe worst was a man who had no reciept for his unit and the serial # was outdated. I was on the phone two hours and twenty-seven minutes listening to threats and his complaints and answering questions. He finally stated he had to go to work but he had my name to reference with Better Business Bureau. I felt bad that I could not help and understood his frustration.
I like to shop and converse with the sales people. I have had to evaluate my own employees in the past and that is a good foundation to be impartial to those that I would have to evaluate. I have worked with the public in various ways for the last twenty years. I am organized and get documents filed generally early, but never late. I am dependable, on time and am competent enough to know if there is a schedule problem to advise the appropriate person well ahead of time so that a replacement can be found.

I am a good candidate as a mystery shopper for I work in the customer service industry. That's what the IRS does. It is service to the community. I pay attention to detail. I know what's good service, lousy service and medial service. My experiences in writing reports and timely allowing for them to get to their proper destination is customary in my line of work. This is similar in scope of what it takes to be a mystery shopper.

A couple of weeks ago I went to Chili's with some friends, and ordered a black bean burger with no onions. When the waiter brought my burger there were onions on it, so I asked for another bun without onions. Eight minutes later, he brought the new bun out, with onions. I finally got his attention about 5 minutes later and told him that there were onions on the new bun. About 10 minutes later, the manager came out with a new burger, free of charge, and apologized for the "mix up". This was the worst customer service I have EVER experinced.
I am a good candiate for a Mystery Shopper because I am observant, impartial, pleasant, and as a marketing major, thisoppotunity would be very educational. Most importantly, I shop and eat out all the time, what better way to make money then by doing things that I already do all the time!

The best customer service I have had was in the food service industry. Steve @ Serrano's on Ben White was very attentive. He surprised me because I did not have to request more water, hot sauce or chips. He checked back often enough to notice what needed to be refilled without burdening me with the question, is there anything else I can get you. A recent bad customer service experience was at Walgreen's Drug Store. I was ready to check out and there was one cashier and I was fifth of seven people. The cashier looked up and got on the microphone and ask cosmetics to start checking out customers and then directed us in the back to go to cosmetics. I was now second in line and she was not happy to help us because she did not greet us she just took the items and began to scan. She finished with the first guy and did not thank him and now it was my turn. She noticed the item I was buying did not have a scan tag and I was watching so I told my friend whom was with me that the scan tag was missing and she proceded to get the container holding multiple bottles of fingernail polish. She handed it to the cashier who was now on my side of the counter. She looked for a bottle with a tag and then went to return the container. As she walked back to the other side of the counter a gentleman was between her and the swinging door, she caressed him as she walked by him and finally when she was behind the counter scanned the bottle of polish so that I could finish this transaction. It took over three minutes.
I pay close attention to details.

My worst customer service experience is when one of my employers had an argument with the store employer and that effected my evaluation report.
Although I have not experienced mystery shopping, I have had employers do it before inventory, to find out how the store employers attitude was before we came to do the inventory. I fell I can do the job, it sounds easy to just evaluate and be incognito to the employers.

Best: When hard effort results in accomplishing a goal and the client can't praise you enough for the work done. Worse: Having to leave a job before it was completed due to physical exhaustion. Client was at a stand still until the work was completed and chewed me out one side and down the other. He was back up and running the next day.
I am a 53 year old male who likes independence, people, challenges and rewards. I am very people oriented and would enjoy being a shopper. Being self employed gives me the flexability to work for you when not working for my self. I do not work full time.

I was working as a bussed boy and a customer had seen that I was a hard worker so she had given me a $2 tip.
I feel the reason why I should be a mystery shopper is because when I am shopping I see alot of employees helping customers with there needs. I want to be able express those needs and reward them. Also I feel this is doing the right thing.
My best customer experience was once when a customer was pretty upset at one of my employees. He wanted to talk to the manager in charge pretty bad. Of course, i was the manager in charge that day. by talking to this customer, apologizing, and coming to his plea, i made the customer from angry to happy by offering my regrets, and free meals on his next visit. I offer to make his order myself also. My worst would be when a customer had a bad temper for our place of service was pretty packed. That day we lacked personell. By the time the customer got to me, he was very angry and started yelling and cussing to me. I tried to explain the reasons but he wouldnt respond.
First of all i love to shop. I get along with people pretty good and have 5+ yrs in dealing with customers of every kind. Knowing both English and Spanish give me a great adavantage specially here in El Paso, where both languages are very highly spoken. Moreover, Im a fast learner and can perform to the best of my capacity.

My worst customer service experience was at a fast-food chain restaurant. We entered the building, and all but 3 of the tables were dirty. There was trash on the floor in the dining area. The employee that took our order made 2 mistakes. When I corrected her, she corrected the order. While waiting for our food to be placed on the tray, I looked over the counter into the kitchen/food prep area. Food was spilled all over the floor and the employees were walking over it. When we received the food, the order was not all there, and what was there was wrong, i.e. fries instead of onion rings, wrong burger. When I asked to speak to the manager, I learned she was the one who took the order. I was told by her that if I didn't like it, I was free to go to another restaurant to eat. I did. I also contacted the chains district office.
I am a good candidate as a mystery shopper because I am shop on an almost daily basis, and I pay attention to details.

The best customer service experience has been at Wal-Mart. I enjoy having someone greed me when I get there and someone to tell me to come back and see them. My worst experience was at Quizno's. I purchased a sandwich that tasted that the expiration time had been expired. The manager would not make me another one because I had taken three bites from the sandwich. My husband asked for our money back and the manager called the cops on us.
I have 17+ years in customer service. I believe that businesses are "HERE TO SERVE", and they need to provide the best quality and customer service to the consumer.
