Best/Worst Customer Service:
Eating dinner at a restaraunt and getting bananas that were a little too ripe
to be served. When mentioned to the waitress, all she said was that was the
way they made it. No words of being sorry or attempting to take it off the
bill. Not a good waitress and she didn't get a tip.
Candidates qualities:
I have been in retail sales, outside sales, and in the restaraunt business. I
hold myself at a very professional manner and appearance. I am good with
details and expect professionalism from all customer service people. I shop

I know what people expected from me as a service person and what I expect out
of others. I am a very polite and educated woman who shops alot.

Best/Worst Customer Service:
On a blustery cold February afternoon I stopped by a small convenience store
to fill my car's gasoline tank, as more snow was predicted in the overnight
forecast. Along with many that season, I'd been plagued with the epidemic Flu
and every second I stood at that gas pump seemed like an eternity. A young
man having just got off work from the convenience store was filling his gas
tank as well in the island beside me. He apparently noticed my ill health and
my less than tollerant of the freezing temperature and piercing wind, and told
me to get back in the car and that he would be glad to finish pumping my gas
for me. Although I kindly refused, he wouldn't accept no as an answer and
gently took the hose from my hand and motioned me to get in the car. I did.
When I got home, I called that store's manager and gave praise to the young
man who had gone the extra mile in customer service. It was then that I
learned that the young man has just worked 22 hours straight because his
relief didn't show - seems mo
Candidates qualities:
Having a background in computer technology and accustomed to doing thorough
research and analysis, I find that I carry these same characteristics in my
shopping, as I compare prices versus quality, brand reputation, and stocking.
As for customer service, I focus first on the direct service I receive and
then the overall service by the facility. Thus, I always give an
establishment a second visit if my first was not up to parr. Everyone has off
days, especially in customer service. Continued off days however, is bad for
business. I always try to voice a praise, and if a negative feedback is
necessary, I do it constructively and make sure to identify something positive
in regards to the overall visit.

The best service experience I have experienced recently occurred at a local drug store. The insurance company was not authorizing an expensive prescription, and the pharmacist spent a great deal of time contacting my doctor and the insurance company to get the necessary authorization. I appreciated her attitude and effort to solve the problem for me.
I have an extensive and varied background in retail management, which has afforded me a critical eye for details.

I think the best customer service experience was when my family and I go out to eat and the server is always there with a smile and even though the restaurant is completely crowded and busy, and the server may be tired.....he or she is smiling and looking on the bright side and completely doing his or her best. You really don't get many people who are even thankful for their jobs.
I have worked in customer service positions since I started working at age 16. I know how important it is to me to have a positive experience with someone and how it affects my relationship with the store, restaurant, etc. It always helps my decision whether or not I return to that establishment or not.

My best-- I was at a restaraunt and the srever put the wrong order in for me. She was honest enough to come back and tell the truth about what happened and offer me something to eat in the meantime. My worst-- I waited an hour and fifty minutes for two salads at a restaraunt and then the food was wrong. THe manager was rude, the server was nonexistent and I never was able ot eat.
I am very attentive and honest. I pay attention to careful details and enjoy being around people. I am responsible and dependable.

While on a recent shopping trip to Lowes, a customer nearby was complaining about a load of lumber that she recieved and stated that she was shorted several pieces of lumber and the contractor was at her home building a deck for her. This customer explained that the contractor needed the shorted pieces of lumber by that evening in order to finish the job. After listening for a moment and making a couple of calls, the sales clerk explained that the delivery truck was not due back till late and he would not be available to make a delivery to the customer till morning. The customer was not happy with the decision until a manager arrived and told the upset lady that he would load the missing pieces onto a Lowes rental truck and that the salesman will follow her to her house and complete the delivery. This was a great customer service experience and wish that mine were all that good.
As a nursing assistant for the past ten years and a slot attendant for the past two months I know a little about giving great customer service. I know what it is like to go to work having a bad day already and have to put your differences aside and provide exceptional care or service. I also know that great customer service is key to a companies success. Also, my great writing skills and attention to detail make me a great candidate as a mystery shopper.
