E & O Tool & Plastic has been providing customized molding solutions since 1986. Utilizing an experienced engineering staff, early involvement with our customers engineers ensure cost effective molds and molded components are produced. Our 36 press operation in Minnesota and 5 press operation in Mexico offer customers a variety of options in location, as well as process specialties. Our press sizes range from 30 ton to 500 ton and we are insert and over molding specialists, with rotary vertical injection press's that provide efficient molding methods for difficult parts. We provide "controlled environment" molding as well as "particulate managed" part handling systems. Our tool room is fully staffed and equipped for complete mold building for production as well as prototype molds. We are ISO 9001-2000 registered and use Statistical methods to develop capable processes and manage consistent molding. Our secondary operations include value added services of assembly, decorating, and custom packaging.

Our company was founded in 1968 as a tool shop (BMJ Mold & Engineering Co.) designing and building injection molds for plastic. In 1978 we bought a plastic molding machine and started molding plastic. As our company grew we added product design and a quality assurance lab. As mold Makers we have designed and built almost every type of mold conceivable; cold runner, hot runner, insulated runner, three plate, stack mold, two shot, insert molds, unscrewing molds, stripper plate, cammed molds, prototype to altra high production, transfer molds, thermo plastic and thermoset. Products we have tooled range from high precision automotive components to golf tees. We have tooled a wide variety of parts specializing in close tolerance precision, high production molds. We are committed to customer service and are available 24/7 for emergencies. Our tool shop is committed to customer service and quick turnarounds. Our scheduling system does not permit late deliveries.

Our molding company, (ACM (Adept Custom Molders)), is a QS9000 registered full service “one-stop, one-responsibility company” injection molding company and is built around the same principals as the tool shop. We are skilled , quality minded thermoplastic professionals committed to superior service by providing solutions to our customers’ needs from concept to finished product.

Our Quality assurance lab, (TMS (Touchstone Measurement Service)), is a contract measuring service that provides 100% part inspection per your requirements on plastic parts, machined parts, stamped parts and sheet metal fabrication. TMS also provides long and short term process capability studies, off line CMM part programming for Mitutoyo manual and CNC CMM’s and part inspection from customer supplied C.A.D. database. All equipment is traceable to the N.I.S.T. Certified as a metrology source for Delphi Automotive they are also A2LA accredited to ISO/IEC Guide 25.  Scanning and reverse engineering are also available.

Our affiliate, Chelexa Design & engineering, provides our product design services. Chelexa is a proven company that maintains an innovative approach to customer service. Their main goal is to provide timely and cost-effective engineering related services to their customers. To achieve this goal, they offer an extensive range of services tailored to meet each customer’s individual needs. More importantly, they address each request promptly and with equal tenacity, whether the job is one hour or one thousand hours.

CAD Capabilities include; I-Deas, Catia, UG, Pro-E, PDGS, EDGS, Data Translations and Data Transfers. Areas of experience include; plastic component design, rubber component design, body-interior trim, chassis, powertrain, electrical and stamped component design.
