Regional Architectural Representative

The Position:

The Regional Architectural Representative will focus primarily on gaining and writing specifications at architectural firms and to pull sales through distribution and National Accounts customers.

Prerequisites & Attributes:

1.The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architecture or Business Administration.

2.A minimum of two years sales experience in construction products sales.

3.Fenestration, storefront, glass and/or aluminum experience extremely helpful.

4.Membership in Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and knowledge of the construction, specification and building construction process a large plus.

5.Proficiency with PC software, including MS Office and email is required.

6.Travel requirement is moderate to extensive.

Position Responsibilities:

1.Plan, organize, motivate and specify Company’s products with major architectural firms within the assigned territory. The territory consists of key cities in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York.

2.Work with designers to anticipate future requirements so that Company can take a proactive approach in creating innovative products.

3.Plan, organize and present architectural training seminars, box lunches and regional presentations within the territory.

4.Execute sales strategies and marketing plans/programs according to annual budget and yearly plan.

5.Manage and motivate assigned independent distribution accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and to meet company sales and profit objectives.

6.Develop and maximize all opportunities for current and future growth.
