I have been selling motorized cleaning equipment for the past twenty years.
The operator walks behind battery operated machines and drives other models
that operate on batteries, gasoline, propane or diesel. The walk behind
models sell for five to fifteen thousand dollars; the ride-on models sell
for fifteen to sixty thousand dollars.
I have recently been awarded a contract to market a line of scooters to
motorcycle, RV, ATV and boat dealers. I am looking for other products to
sell to these dealers such as performance accessories for any of the above
products and/or a motorcycle or ATV line.
I have previously sold hydraulic hoses and fittings. I have also been a
distributor in the food industry. Because of this experience, I have been on
both sides of the fence, and this helps me to find solutions to issues that
can please both the manufacturer and the distributor.
I am very good at finding new distributors; I am also very good at
maintaining the long term relationships that are necessary in order to
create a productive selling environment.
